It’s very sad that we are sometimes taking for granted the things we certainly don’t know the importance to others. While others are trying their best in order to gain it, we are trying to waste it as much.

Today, we visited an area in Quezon City near the garbage dump site to have our NSTP(National Service Training Program) – CWTS(Community Welfare Training Service). CWTS pertains to the community service that college students are obliged to do in order to serve the country. Why CWTS? Because I think ROTC won’t be able to help the country in times of need. We must focus first in the people. The other reason is because I’m not fit to do heavy activities such as military training.

The place is not that hapless. Even though they are problematic with their own family problems, they were able to spare some time to welcome us. They are also happy despite the fact that their situation in life is a serious one. They welcomed us as if we were their own sons and daughters. Through this, we were able to open our eyes to what really is the situation of the country.

The water services they have are “installments” only. Meaning to say, they pay the pipe line construction monthly in order to own it as their own property. Because of that, they pay 600 pesos every month so that the line would be permanent. In cases that they won’t be able to pay, the spigot will be locked so that the water won’t flow to their line. It really is a sad thing. To think some of us are enjoying the water without thinking any problems how to provide it. Good thing they have this alternative well just in front of their house to decrease their water bills.

We tried to ask what did the government officials do to their concerns. They said that the only projects they were able to do was road construction and the basketball courts. We were surprised that those were the only projects of the officials. Isn’t a little bit of strange? Why can’t they think of any projects that will improve the people and help their budget? Such as scholarships, allowances, part-time jobs, seminar trainings, health seminars and free water services so that the people at vicinity will learn to handle money. Good thing they have this organization named Concerned Mothers’ League (CML) that takes the action and exerts effort in order to pursue some sponsors to do some activities and have projects at their vicinity.

I asked my host family if they were able to get the electric bill subsidy. I was not aware that for them to get it, they should have government i.d and NSO paper of their marriage contract. That is the reason they said they didn’t bother to have the subsidy. The cost they’ll need to obtain the papers would already cost them that much.

Inevitably, the host family I was assigned has their son’s name the same as mine. He is also thin like me and I heard that he suffered from broncho pneumonia when he was still a baby.I also suffered the same illness and I think it is the reason why I haven’t gotten fatter since then.

We left the vicinity hoping that we will once return again with our proposed project in order to help their area. Also, to hear more of their concerns and their experiences that we haven’t experienced yet and yet to be learned.

Sometimes, exposure with these things really helps in order for us to be prepared to the bigger world that awaits for us once we finish our studies.

As for everyone, Ideal World huh? Does such thing exists? This topic is our current topic at my subject Political Science. This subject just aims to have students aware of the politics itself and to decrease at an extent the negative thoughts prior to the word politics. If I ask a Filipino what he thinks about politics… His/her answer will have a high probability of being negative. Why? because the government exhibits it… I myself would be hypocrite if I deny that I’m thinking negative as well. At a certain, my professor said that it’s not true at all. It was just tainted by the people who was influenced by… MONEY…

Anyway, I’m talking about IDEAL world here. My professor said that Ideal World exists in our minds. And if the mind can think of it then the body is able to achieve it. He also said that IDEAL world is never different for everyone because if one thinks of something, that something becomes a part of the IDEAL world itself. Isn’t pretty vague? How about I think that the ideal world is something that has many mountains but one thinks it has many oceans? -_- What would be the result of such imagination???

Nobody can control someone what to think or what to do. If the IDEAL world were to exist, I don’t think there would be peace since the mind can think of something and it materializes in anyway for an instant, then that would be a dangerous world wouldn’t? Selfishness and laziness would be born in that world if a thing you want will just appear in your sight without even budging or working for it.

We actually had this activity in the classroom. A combined ideas of our ideal worlds. The frequent question was what will the government do to motivate people if what they want could be achieved without even working for it. This totally wrecked my mind. They why have an IDEAL world? Humans were able to adapt in the world because they want something…(I’m not talking about the Natural Selection) They are challenged by time. That is why they work hard for something to earn. That is why they have this what they call direction in life. Because they want something to do before the given time runs out. If these goals can be achieved in a snap of finger… Then the human race is over…Right?

I’m not really sure if IDEAL world is something similar to the magical world or something like a parallel universe. I can even think of linking it to an anime… Why? because if these romanticist, the escape artists, think of these things in the IDEAL world, then it would be dangerous. Try imaging this scene in an anime… If the ideal world can materialize it then… -_- I don’t want the IDEAL world then. These imaginations are made to inspire people. That’s what I think. To learn something good from it. To improve oneself.

If I were to choose between the “real world”, which they call the “shadow” of the IDEAL world or the “Ideal World” then I will really really choose the “real one…” I don’t care if they see it as something staying on your comfort zone. I just don’t want to play with the life given to us. I don’t think it would be meaningful to live in an ideal world. It might be the what they call paradise but I don’t care. As long as we have grasp of what we really want to do… Then I’m fine staying right here. I’ll be glad to.

Hmm? Why Part 2? Well, I don’t know if it is a coincidence or maybe the inevitable. My teacher when I was first year in English is also my teacher in English during my 4th year days. Guess what? A Journal again of course. I’ve been motivated to write something again about it. I dug up my stuffs and found it~!

There was this entry(actually my first entry) where I ask what really is the title of our subject. Hahaha, Oh come on,it’s not simply English IV~. He replied when he checked the entry and wrote:

I was quite surprised when I read that part. Maybe I was the only one who really knows what was the name of our subject back then. Anyway, it’s not worth knowing since we just simply write English IV. I also remembered that the day I wrote this entry of mine was the day I knew the word “zeitgeist”.

The ouroboros caught my attention because it has a meaning of eternal recurrence. Eternal recurrence was philosophical belief by Wilhelm Nietzsche. He wrote the books Der Will Zur Macht(The Will for Power), Jenseits von Gut und Bose(Beyond Good and Evil) and Also Sprach Zarathustra(Thus Spoke Zarathustra). The three books were the tagline of the three chapters of the game. Interesting isn’t? I also remebered Envy because I saw him at the movie of FMA ~

Sir I know you can’t relate but I do play Ragnarok Online (back then). There is a job there named “bard”. I decided to name my character “The Song of Roland”. Quite funny yet it has a meaning. Some players reacted to my name. Knowing that players of Ragnarok are very addicts (spare me), some still have their grasp from their lesson and literature so it is fun to know.

This is the part 2 yes. My teacher is stupid. why? I really did some effort writing this stuff you know? I even conduct some searches through the internet. He didn’t checked the remaining 6 entries because it was already the clearance week for us graduates. I also saw this dumped in front of his room. After all our efforts to write in this silly journal? It’s just going to be a trash? Maybe I was already so-so in using English during this time since I’m already indulged in frequent watching of animes. The entries are the clues of what anime I am watching at the moment. hehehe~

It is good to reminisce the good times~

Whooo! I found a remnant of my MunSci days! Look what I’ve got… My 1st year English Journal Notebook… My teacher always said to us that we will be having this soon in our colleges so writing journals would be a good practice for the future and for improving our grammar as well. I don’t know why I was so motivated to write something in that rotten journal back when I was 1st year. I also don’t know if this teacher of mine really reads what I’m writing. I thought he really did because I was raising questions while writing and he does answer through reply whenever he checks it. Maybe I was just very bored in my life and I wasn’t still very fond of animes.

If he really cares and want to improve us… Even though it is free-style kind of writing(since it’s essay,prose), he must have corrected THESE very non-sense, grammatically wrong sentences of mine. Well, I’m still not that fluent when it comes to English so I’m not that confident up to now… But these are just… XD It’s just so wrong XD

That is how dumb I am when I was first year. I became fond of animes when I was 2nd year. I think what helped me improve my grammar is anime. Why? Because of subtitles. It helped me a lot to remember some phrases, words, new vocabs used by the fansubbing group. I was really grateful to anime. If I weren’t able to watch them, I think I’ll still be dumb in using proper English.

I’ve minimized the picture of my schedule after thinking that it wouldn’t be good if someone I know with the same schedule read this XD. You could only ask for it if you’re my friend ^^

This is my freaking schedule this semester. I’ve got limited time to visit this site of mine because my brother is often at home + my mother says to lessen the hours + I’m watching something else…teehehehe… I can barely watch Code Geass and now I haven’t made an entry about it yet… Aww, this sucks. I hope I could make it in La Salle… The people are just different. Everyone are just luxy. That is the reason I can’t join them whenever they want to eat something. They always prefer to wander along Taft Ave. just to search for another restaurant to eat. I can’t afford something like that ya know… Gladly, I happen to know someone who is not that socialite than the others. I’m just annoyed by his companion… He always talks in English and I’m not used to it. I hope I can get along with them even though I’m just an ordinary person. Every time they get near, I feel uncomfortable. Phew, That is why I’m saying to everybody I’ve known(former classmates) that I will just imprison myself in the library so that I won’t have to talk to them… Unluckily, there was this blockmate of mine who nominated me as a secretary… and I was assigned to that position because of her…*sigh*.Probably this is the chance for me to get to know them but… I’m pretty depressed because of this… I also haven’t seen lately my former classmates… I always have the problem to search where to eat. The only economical food I’ve seen was the Pizza Hut selling 2 slices for P49 and the value meal of McDonalds in P50… Of course these luxy people won’t eat such cheap food. I hope I can blend with these people without thinking what to eat during lunch XD

Just think of it… If I eat too much pizza then it’s very oily… If its always chicken…then cholesterol… Just what the hell should I eat??? Something that is cheap but healthy and with veggie??!?

Currently, my family is experiencing some difficulty in handling money because my father doesn’t have job anymore because he retired already(long long long time ago). The money used for my education is just the savings… I know I mustn’t let them down so I should keep on studying while helping them as well in saving money… La Salle might just say that not only luxy people is studying in the university… Of course NOT because it’s ALMOST. XD … If this continues, I won’t be able to write decent things in this blog XD.

I almost forgot, our P.E. is football.I’m glad it wasn’t basketball because its impossible for me… Still, I wish it was volleyball…

I’m still not over with anime. That’s for certain. Hahaha… Mada mada dane! XD . I’m still with Digimon these days and I can’t get over with it. Hahaha, maybe deep inside of me I also wanted to be a Digi-Destined to experience what those kids experienced…You know, the adventure stuff, friends and lots of fights… It’s way better than any RPGs if its going to be real… Hahaha, too much for the day dreaming -_-.

I don’t know what’s gotten into me! What I only know is I always wake up in the morning just to watch Digimon in HERO TV! I didn’t think it would trigger some old memories back then when I was a kid. When I was still a kid, My favorite anime was Pokemon ya know? Because evolution here, evolution there. I haven’t thought anything about the story itself of the animes. Now that I was able to watch it again[tagalog dubbed though... I always get confused because they always mixes up Tailmon and Gatomon (i didn't knew they were the same)] I realized that it was way better than Pokemon desu yo! Because of that, I tried searching the evolution theme and the opening theme[which I really love - It's on the random video]. It was really great… It is sad though. My classes would start soon and I wouldn’t able to watch the entire series anymore. Anyway, I was more enlightened by the story itself. I barely watches Digimon back then when I was a kid because two channels that airs them put them at the same time. Because I was dumb back then, I chose Pokemon to watch instead of Digimon[baka baka baka]. It’s too late now though. I’m glad that HERO TV aired it again.

Because of this madness, I reached Veoh TV and YouTube to search for fansubbed videos. I also searched and watched some videos. I was able to watch the prequel of season one just now. I just can’t find the part where the Chosen Children gave up their tags and crest (mentioned by Takeru in the second season prior to the DNA Evolution of Paildramon XD)

Talking about the series itself. There is still Digimon nowadays… Actually, it is on its fifth season already. I only watched the two seasons since it is the only season that makes sense. I love the classic and original so I didn’t like the antics of the new season. The story of Digimon was long finished since season 2. The season 3 – 5 might just be… ya know…

If someone is reading this article right now… I cant find the clear version of this wallpaper. I might just download the high quality version of the movie to produce one. I doubt though if there is such thing since it really is classic… If you have one please send me the clear one – I just love this… it really brings back good memories of the good ending of Digimon Adventures(season one)

This news is pretty alarming… The long trial has been into its judgement today.

If that is what it is called… Copyright infringement… Then what do you call the images we see at Google Images, Anime Wallpaper and MyOtaku??? I think that also counts as a copyright infringement… Just what the heck is wrong with file sharing??? I think they must use the term copyright infringement if and only if they have seen someone profiting from such thing[but is there?].

I don’t think this will affect the people in the long run. Well, I’m happy for that but his imprisonment is just for nothing… What will they achieve? Would the uploaders/ file sharers stop?

I don’t get the purpose of creating the malware… That’s what you get for tricking other people… He even defame someone just to escape the blame. There is nothing wrong for being a die hard fan but there is also what you call limits… I feel sorry for that person. He can’t watch the future anime series.

Well yeah, fansub and illegal distribution of pictures can be called piracy. Thats why I’m not that proud to lend the copies I have. Who knows, the Viz Media might just come here and arrest me. Knowing that fact, he must have not tried to do something foolish, something that might cause him trouble. Considering that he is in Japan, the source of the material, he must have not done such thing.

Banning all cannot solve the issue. Of course, there would always be an illegal one or an underground one… No one can stop such rampant thing. They must make a law that protects the citizens that holds the eligible material. E.g. The ones that claimed they had their PCs with malwares should not have the right to complain since it’s their fault for downloading the material. One problem as well is the accesibility. Delivery by Amazon is real quick I know but how about those country that doesn’t receive the distribution? Will we rely to the ones delivered to other places? I’m from Philippines and I think that is my valid reason. My parents don’t allow online shopping so what choice can I have… To download in the net of course… I doubt if many people in Japan does the delivery thing if it is already available in the vicinity. They can find it in Akihabara for sure.

Still, I think the arresting is somewhat wrong… If there is a law about that malware then he’s going to rot in the prison… But if there is not, then he doesn’t hold any crime right? Sharing pictures I can say is very light for such an offense. If the law does allow that then it might not have gone through the defamation of someone. I haven’t lately open-up my account in Neopets so I had an encounter with this new time killer my brother had introduced me…

You just have to click for the image to get to their main page. The monsters here are way cuter than Neopets’. I will still try to visit both of my accounts though. The game in the Monstro-City called En-Gen is very enjoying. I played it for more than hours! I hope my I.Q. will increase after playing their witty puzzles and playing the best time-killer En-Gen puzzle game. The mechanics of the game is to connect four blocks of the same color to generate the power needed. The wattage serves as the timer of the game which decreases from time to time because of consumption. Having connected four blocks would also generate wattage that could replace the diminished wattage in the timer. There are also “levels” in the game which serves as challenge. Leveling up means having your timer sped up. If the wattage bar got empty your game will be considered over… My high score so far is 50000+ megawatts (level 17) — in Medium preference.

Interested or what? MoshiMonsters is much more interactive than Neopets. Eventhough it is interactive, I bet this game is not for kids because it is a battle of wits just to gain Rox[considered as the currency] by answering daily puzzle that would absolutely tease your senses. As a positive outcome, it might help you improve your speed in comprehension. So it really is not just playing for the sake of having the CUTE monster. Every owner/ parent as they say is held liable for the monster so you are obliged to feed it… pamper it and love it. If you are not ready to do this every time in the net, then you’re better not having one. You see, this game also aims to teach the importance of responsibilities.
